TERMS, CONDITIONS AND WARRANTY

 

PRICING

We make every effort to ensure our pricing is correct, however in the event of an error we reserve the right to cancel or amend your order. You will be contacted in either event. Quotes remain valid for 28 days.

 

AVAILBILTY

Your order is shipped, subject to availability. Should a product not be in stock you will be notified and offered an approximate shipping date or full refund.

 

DAMAGED/ NON-DELIVERY/ LATE DELIVERY

All claims for damaged, non-delivery or goods lost in transit must be made within 24 hours of the delivery date. When signing for your order, it is your responsibility to check that the number of parcels being delivered corresponds with the number of parcels stated on the delivery note. If this is not the case, the delivery note should be amended accordingly before applying your signature. If your order is being delivered later than specified, it is your responsibility to write the time of receipt on the consignment note. If there is any damage apparent to the parcel/ packaging, it is your responsibility to document this on delivery note and photograph evidence, in cases for Royal Mail deliveries, photographs are all that are necessary. For items lost in transit; Please contact the office either by phone or email, if you haven’t received goods, 4 working days after they were dispatched (unless you have been advised of longer delivery time such as economy pallet) – please ensure you have your order reference in all instances when reporting. We will then investigate on your behalf. Please remember that Royal Mail deliveries carry no time or date guarantee, should you wish to upgrade to a courier delivery (insured/ tracked), please select the appropriate option at checkout. Xline Systems Ltd cannot accept liability for goods delivered and left in unsecured locations, the delivery address specified at the point of order is deemed to be secure. We cannot be held responsible for any disruption to shipping as a result of industrial disputes or action beyond our control.

 

RETURN OF UNWANTED GOODS

All customers have the right to change their mind. Should you wish to return an item, please contact us within 14 days or receiving the product/s to request a ‘returns reference’, ensure the item/s are adequately packaged and returned in unused, resaleable condition. Postage and packaging costs of the return are the responsibility of the customer. Upon inspection providing these terms have been met, we will then arrange a refund by the same method the order was made. Should a ‘returns reference’ not be present the return will not be processed.
After 14 days any unused resaleable items returned will incur a restocking fee of 20% which will be applied before the refunded amount is settled. Any items such as a custom-built system installs (van/ trailer) are likely to be non-returnable due to the nature of the item being bespoke to individual customer requirements.

 

PRODUCT GUARANTEE

Should any defects arise under proper use of the goods supplied, within the warranty period (12 months, unless otherwise specified) because of manufacturing fault, then we will make good by repair or replacement, providing we are notified, and the defective goods are returned to us promptly. Please ensure you contact us to obtain a ‘returns reference’ before returning. Should goods be received without a returns reference, no action will be taken, and the goods will be kept in storage for a month before being disposed of. All goods must be adequately packaged. Returns costs, will be paid by the customer and not Xline Systems Ltd. We can arrange collection of large or bulky items, but this will be charged to you. Xline systems Ltd shall not be liable in any way for consequential damage, loss or injury. We reserve the right to return goods to the supplier for repair, please note this process can take up to 28 days. Any modifications or adaptations/ fitting of non-approved fittings or accessories render the above guarantee null and void. ‘Wear and tear’ is not covered under our guarantee. Any goods that show damage by impact, force or improper use will not be covered by our warranty. Our systems, trolley’s and poles require regular cleaning and servicing to maintain the full warranty – failure to do so will invalidate any warranty claim.

 

ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UK

Please be aware that orders outside of the UK will be subject to customs duty and or tax. The customer is responsible for paying these import charges directly to the carrier to have their goods released. If you would prefer to arrange collection by courier, we can prepare goods and provide you with weights and dimensions.

 

LIABILITY

All orders placed either in person, over the phone or via our website are ordered in agreement of the terms specified above.
Xline Systems Ltd cannot be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, such as adverse weather, natural disaster.
Information on our website is believed to be accurate and reliable. However, Xline Systems Ltd does not give any representations or warranties, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy or completeness of such information and shall have no liability for the consequences of use of such information. In no event shall Xline Systems Ltd be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, costs related to the removal or replacement of any products or rework charges) whether or not such damages are based on tort, including negligence, warranty, breach of contract or any other legal theory. Warranty is non-transferrable. Please note that goods purchased in the UK and then shipped overseas by the customer will not be covered by our standard Warranty terms and conditions. All costs incurred for returns or maintaining goods will need to be covered by the customer.

 

COMPLAINTS

Should you wish to complain you can do so either in person, over the phone or via email. All complaints will be taken seriously. A copy of our complaint’s procedure is available upon request.
